I currently have one female ferret around 6 1/2 months old. I share an
apartment with 3 other girls, 2 of which are absolutely are terrified of my
baby (without good reason. She isn't a biter). So, in July when my lease
expires I am moving across town into another apartment, because I want
Verne to be in a 100% loving and fun filled environment. My question is,
how can I prepare her for this move. What will make her more comfortable.
Also, I have been wanting to adopt a second ferret so Verne will have a
buddy to play with. Obviously, I am waiting until after the move, but how
long should I wait? Also, how should I treat the sleeping and playing
arrangements with the new ferret? Do they need to be separated for a
while. Also, do I need to take Verne with me to pick out her new friend?
Is this going to endanger either of the fuzzies because the kit hasn't had
her full course of vaccinations? I know this is long, but I want to do
things right. I thought that maybe someone with experience could help me!

Thanks!
Kristin
