My oldest boy is concerning me. He has 2 large lumps on the left and right
lower parts of his neck directly in front of his legs. My vet said it is
from recent vaccinations, but it has been over a month and a half. These
lumps are still gradually getting larger. They are both now the size of a
small pecan. He said that if it ws anything else, that there was no hope
for his survival at his age (5-7 years).

He is a young vet and I am not sure of his experience level. He said that
if the lumps are from the vaccination, that they don't need to be removed.
Sliky is the only ferret I personaly own the rest I adopt out. He was
abused by his former owners. He had to have a tooth broken removed after
he was kicked intensionaly in the face. The owner didn't want to pay for
it so he gave him to me. He is also near deaf because of this. I am in
college to be an airplane mechanic and have very little extra cash on hand.
I am willng to pay for testing, of course, but I want a second oinion
first. Can anyone on the list give me one?

Abilene is not very big and has no real ferret specialist that I am aware
of. My girlfriend is a ferret convert. The first time she saw Slinky at
my house she climed on the back of my couch and screamed until I put him
up. She has had a change of heart, though. She has spent a good deal of
time, as have I, looking for a solution online to his problem. She spoils
him with too many marshmellows, and puts bandannas on him. Hey, I'm a guy
and the bandanna is cool I guess, and if slinky dosn't mind it neither do
I, but I draw the line on pet clothes. But that biker jacket does look
kinda cool.....
