Thank you for all the suggestions and advice.

I'm leaning toward his problem being IBS/IBD. Since he never seems to
be stressed and most of the time we have to wake him up for play time
I don't think it's a stress ulcer but that is still possible.

I thought it could be an alergy to one of the treats we occationaly
give. We stopped giving it and he had one day where he looked like a
new ferret. He was running, jumping, and pouncing on everything whether
it moved or not. After that he was back to mostly resting or sleeping.
So I'm back to IBS/IBD or Lymphoma.

He still has off and on loose stools some brown, some green, some other
colors not found in the 64 crayon box.

Last night he looked week and occationaly appeared to have difficulty
walking straight and would kind of stumble to one side. He was also
nauseau as he hid is face under blankets and such. I tried to give him
duck soup which he didn't want. I tried ferretone and he was interested
but didn't take more than one or two licks. I had heard that ferrets
with lymphoma and IBS/IBD responded to pred and I gave him some by
syring. This really made him nauseous and he ran around wiping his
face, hiding his head under things, and pawing at his mouth some. He
didn't vomit. A little later he did eat a little food not a lot but a
little. This morning I gave some more pred and some treats that he
likes and he did eat the treats and he didn't seem to be as nausious
(hard to tell sometimes). He looked like he felt some better this
morning. His weight is down quite a bit but it's hard to tell if he is
just losing his winter weight (he did this last year too) or if it's
because he's sick or both. I'm thinking both.

I'm taking him into our vet first thing this morning even though work
wants all off us in the office for then last several weeks.

I'll let you know what our vet finds out.

Thank you again

Mike
