Once again, I am faced with, to me, the most stressful event with a
fuzzy: Not eating on their own. Hobbes may have adrenal, insulinoma,
or both. I know from my other fuzzies, I have to get some food, on a
regular basis, into him or he will loose weight very quickly and not be a
good candidate for surgery (once we figure out what is wrong with him).
Yesterday, his BG was 165.

I have tried some of the common preparations to feed a non-eating fuzzy:
A/D alone and mixed with just a little ferretone, Duck Soup that has
mostly Gerber's chicken dinner with a little Boost, pedialyte, and
ferretone, and Bob's Chicken Gravy.

I don't want to make the feeding stressful. He may never want to be on
my lap again! I put a small amount on the end of my finger and let him
smell it and then I put a little bit around his lips so he can taste it
also. After I do this, he bolts from my lap and runs to the other end
of the house. He does this even when he is lethargic.

At this point, I just need something easy on the stomach, doesn't require
chewing, and he _will_ eat!

Please tell me what and how you feed in this situation!

Thanks!

Too many people spend money they haven't earned, to buy things they
don't want, to impress people they don't like.
