I just gotta jump in on this whole ferret-talk thing. Personally I think
it's absolutely hilarious when the ferts write their own messages. Other
than that, I don't see it as a big enough issue to complain about. Why is
this even being brought up over and over for discussion? It's a mailing
list about ferrets, for ferret owners, plain and simple. Many owners are
a bit obsessed with their pets, that's what makes a good owner. And as
ferret people we are all a little crazy, that's what makes a good fert
person.

So all that said and done, I do not understand why there is any discussion
at all about someone writing in funny comentary, or ferret speak. Why
complain about someone else's funny? The only thing accomplished is that a
smile has been removed from someone's face. Instead of just skipping the
post, you complain about something meant to be light hearted, and you make
that heart a heavy one. Not nice, not civil, not in good taste. Why bring
someone else down, when all you really have to do, is move on?

I'm not saying that people do not have the right to free speech, and all
that mumbo jumbo. All I am saying is, if there is no real need to bring
another person down, then don't do it. That's my $.02 on the subject, take
it or leave it, just as you should anything else.

Keep the ferts talking, I bet we would all learn something if we listened a
little bit closer, rather than closing our hearts, and making someone one
else lose their smile.
