I have found something really fun and exciting for my ferrets.  At the
local PetSmart they sell these hard plastic balls for ferret treats.  It
has an opening which you can swivel shut or open to different degrees so
that more or less treats can fall out.  The ferrets push the ball and
treats come out.  Well this week I mixed some of their kibble, their
favorite treats, and a few raisins and what did I have...FERRT GORP.  They
love it.  They don't get bored with the treats, because they never know
what or how much they will get from the ball.  Usually I only keep it open
to dispense treats while I am home so that they don't gorge themselves all
day long.
