Hi..

i've just purchased my first ferret.. and i may be prejudice.. but i
think he's the cutest thing around.. he's albino, ruby eyed, with a silver
stripe down his back and tail.

i can remember when i first had my children.. panicing when they would
have the sniffles.. or a sneeze.. or they cried..

my little Rent, just sneezed.. and i thought ohhh my, does he have a
cold?? is he ok.. ?? etc.

i can sit and hold him all day.. smiles.. but i know he needs his
sleep..he's already made a buddy.. the cat.. she's s till a kitten
technically.. she's only 8 months old.. but it's funny since she's so
much bigger than him to see her play gently.

the way his cage is when it's up against the wall it makes for a small
crawl space.. just big enough for him.. he'll bite her tail, then run and
hide in there.. and stick his head out the other end.. when she jumps to
that end.. he hurriedly runs around the back of the cage and bites her
tail so she swings around trying to get him and dashes back into the hole..
LOL.. it's sooo funny to see.. or he'll run into the kitchen, and hide,
then as the cat runs in after him.. he jumps out from behind what he is
hiding.. and gets her.

i cannot wait to see him grow.. just working on "Rent" proofing the home
so he can't get stuck anywhere..

I live in the washington State.. if there is anyone out there that would
like to swap stories.. or who has the patience when i call up and say ohhh
he's sneezing again.. etc.. let me know.

Thank You..
