Got a letter from a lady today that knows of a young ferret in need.  I
hope someone out here contacts her soon.  She has given me permission to
post her letter.  Write her directly.  Thanks to everyone.  Her name is

"I am aware of a ferret that needs to have a home with someone who knows
ferrets.  He was purchased at a swap meet by a young mother and she has no
idea how to care for him.  He is around 1 yr.  old and she is afraid of
him.  He lives in a cage and she wears some type of gloves to feed him.
He does not get any other kind of contact.  I myself do not know anything
about ferrets but it really bothers me for him to be in this situation.  I
thought I had found him a home with someone who has had ferrets in the past
but that fell through.  I would appreciate any help you can offer me.  My
location is Carrollton, KY which is about 1 hr from Cin, OH & Louisville,
KY and about 1 1/2 hrs from Lexington, KY and Indy.  As you can see I am
