Good morning to everyone and all their fuzzies. I just wanted to share
with everyone and also to remind everyone to treat the ferrets with
hairball remedy. I treat all of ours at least every two weeks with a
treat of malt flavor hairball med. During the shedding period they get
it every week.

I gave everyone their share a couple of days ago and yesterday Burglar was
coughing and spitting up. Also he blew potty all over the place including
outside the cage. What a mess. Couldn't think what was wrong as this had
never happen to him before, that he was really sick and worried as he is
getting up in age and was afraid he was going down hill.

Anyway, as I was cleaning him up and all his mess, I found a hairball and
I mean solid hair. He was fine after that episode.

So the moral of this messy story is to be sure and not to forget the
hairball remedy as ferrets lick like cats and need to get rid of the
hair so as not to have blockages.

Love and Fuzzie Kisses
