victoria wrote about her ferrets climbing their cage. I too, have a 5'
high cage and my guys climb it all the time. Just as they climb it, they
also climb down it. I have watched very closely and they seem to know what
they're doing. I know it's not the safest thing for them to do, but I
haven't been able to stop them and at this point I don't see a reason. If
you watch them closely and see how it is down it will tell you everything.

Yogurt treats are dairy and IMHO are not the best treat for our little
guys. We have to be very careful of their dairy and sweet intake. I used
to give my 9 kids a lot more ferretvite and nutrical and various other
treats until I started hearing about so much insulinoma, etc. I have been
giving my guys the chicken baby food + A/D mixture as a treat and they love
it, with the occasional ferretvite and ferretone. After all, treats are a
bonding experience for us more than anything.

Just my 2 cents.

As for the heading dipping into the water, I have 4 who do that on a
regular basis. Attribute it to "a ferret thing".
