To say I am Angry is an Understatement!  From the posts I have recently
seen and heard about.
 
Please, Anon and whoever else has a question about the actual existence
of or care now being received by the ferrets from the "Hagerstown
Rescue".  I've been there, at the Rocky's Ferrets Shelter and Rescue.
I've been up to my elbows in frightened ferrets who have NEVER known
loving hands.  What DB did was ATROCIOUS!  But, the same ferrets that you
saw pictured are in clean cages, they have been bathed, that have been
ADV tested, that have gotten some of the necessary vacs, they are being
eval'd by a vet, they will be spayed or neutered.  And they are BEING
LOVED!  Each and every ferret is being handled each and every day.  They
are being spoken to with sweet words and even after a week, I can see
the difference in them.
 
Anon and whoever else has a concern about the validity of this rescue, go
visit, or send someone to visit.  And I don't mean just drive by and flap
your lips.  Wear old clothes and get into the middle of it all and spread
the loving touch of a Human that cares.  They need this.  Money isn't
everything, it MOST definitely will help, but a hand will also do.  Scoop
poop, clip nails, clean ears, pass on some much needed kisses to those
furry babies.  And Support those Shelter Moms and Dads who are doing what
most can't.  Don't throw down accusations unless you can prove them.
Please, if I missed seeing you at Rocky's over the last 2 weekends-I'm
sorry.  Next time introduce yourself.
