I have had reactions to both Fervac-D and Purevax.  The last two
reactions I had were to Purevax and they were worse than any I ever had
with Fervac, both ferrets took a couple of days to recover and become
themselves again, with the Fervac they were back to normal in a few
hours.
 
I also had a ferret have a reaction to the Benadryl.  He was pretreated
before his distemper shot and within 10 minutes of giving him the
Benadryl he was throwing up blood and had diarrhea, shortly after that
he collapsed.  He did not get his shot that day and we have determined
he is allergic to Benadryl.  I've now had three ferrets do this so I'm a
little leery of pre-treating if they haven't had a reaction in the past.
Anybody else see this happen?
