i'm in southwest florida, and could probably drive as far as tallahassee
or jacksonville to pick up some of these kids if they do end up being
carpooled around the country.  i'll be driving a '90 volvo 740 sedan, so
i could probably fit a fair number of carriers inside.  as for capacity,
well, i know that chris and i could probably take one or two more
young/healthy kids for a while at least, maybe up to five if they were
to-be-adopted.  widget's could take a few i'm sure, and some of the other
shelters in the area probabl could--i'd be willing to keep them at my
house until the shelter operators could come get them--act as a node.
 
someone contact me if this ferret-carpool to shelters looks like it's
going to actually hapen, and i'll get in touch with the area shelters and
see how many we can take in.
