I was at Petco in Waterford, MI last night and picked up a flyer for some
low cost vaccination clinics that Luv My Pet will be holding this month...
 
Apparently this is the third and last clinic, to be held Sunday, October 24
from 12:30 to 2:00 pm at this particular Petco on Elizabeth Lake Road for
all you Detroit area people.  Most of ad is about dogs and cats but
mentions ferrets at the bottom - Rabies and Distemper shots $15.00 each
("does not include boosters"?).  There's a disclaimer that all ferrets must
be there within the first 15 minutes.  Doctor is Carl Welti from Willowood
Acres Vet Clinic and the number for more info is 734-753-4484 or Petco at
248-738-9400.
 
Maybe this could be helpful to someone out there?
