Hi there --

When I first asked about this, I got a wonderfully simple answer in
a delightful emali. I was so new to the list I didn't yet know who
different posters might be, so I can't give crtedit for this.

Ferrets often sleep so curled up that their heads are tucked up almost
under their buts, so their heads can smell like their own pee. Or like
the pee of a dear friend around whom they have curled for a nap. One
of mine often has this special perfume.
