Our two, Bug and Raphael, are going through a coat change at the moment.
Bug has such a peculiar marking that I have to ask the Listers: What is
the strangest marking you have ever seen on one of your furkids? Bug is
a silver mitt, and the top of her head has gone all short and dark gray.
But right in the middle is an upside-down peace sign in very light fur,
standing high above the other fur like a mohawk! It looks like this,
about the same size:

The design is quite thick and prominent. Wish we had a camera around here.

Also, we've been very lucky in that our ferrets have never shown thieving
tendencies. Socks, keys, potatoes -- all are safe. However, the other
day Bug tried to swipe an enormous ballpeen hammer. She laboriously
dragged it from one end of the house to the other until she got it stuck
on a piece of furniture. Hissing and swearing, she finally freed it and
disappeared under the couch with it. When I repo'd it, the little blighter
bit me on the foot. Can somebody tell me just what she was intending to DO
with the hammer (besides whup the bemoses out of Raphael, presumably)...?

Regards to all of you and yours!
