You might want to consider killing the spiders you have left in the house.
There are any number of spiders that are poisonous in various degrees...what
may not be poisonous to a human could easily kill a fuzzie.

To make certain that you get them all, try the following:

First, plan an outing with ALL of your fuzzies. Think of a park or some
other suitable location where you can all sit out in the fresh air and have
some fun.

Next, go to the store and get a fogger for insects. There is one that comes
in a yellow and blue box (Raid Fumigator) with three units per box. It
costs about $9 per box and can be found in most grocery stores.

To figure how many units you need, figure one unit per 100 square feet...two
units if there are lots of items in the room. If you have a drop-ceiling,
remember to use a broom to lift and move one corner of a tile to allow some
of the chemical into the area above the tiles.

Don't forget attic spaces, closets, storage areas and basements. An average
sized basement should get three units all by itself. Open all cupboards,
ovens and other normally closed spaces, like drawers and dish cabinets.

NOTE: It is not necessary (and can be anti-productive) to cover dishes, etc.
Open food containers should be removed or placed inside sealed containers.
Items like fish tanks should have the filters turned off and have newspaper
thickly layered over the top. Remove all living critters that you wish to
survive this treatment. NO OTHER ACTIONS ARE NECESSARY.

You will need to have a container of water handy when you are ready to
activate the devices. Be certain to gather up the fuzzies and get them out
of the house before you start!!! Start with the upper part of your house
and activate each unit, starting with the one farthest from your route to
downstairs. If on a single floor, start with the one farthest from the exit
door. If you have a basement, start those *before* starting the ones on the
first floor of the house. Be sure that all windows and exhaust fans are
turned OFF.

After activating all units, exit and lock the house and go have fun for
about three hours (the units say two hours, but in order to be sure of
full coverage, wait for three). Upon returning home, immediately open all
windows and doors throughout the entire house. If you have fans, place
them in windows to blow OUT of the house and turn them on high. Turn on
any exhaust fans you may have. Exit the house again and give the fans
about ten minutes to do their thing.

DO NOT RETURN FUZZIES TO THE HOUSE UNTIL YOU ARE CERTAIN THAT THE ENTIRE
HOUSE HAS BEEN CLEARED OF ANY FUMES. Fuzzies are sensitive to the chemical
smoke created by these units. However, once cleared, the fuzzies should
have any problems with returning to the house. There are no lingering
coatings or substances on furniture, floors, walls or fuzzie items.

Because the units emit a chemical smoke, all areas are reached, not just
exposed surfaces. This makes certain that spiders and other insects that
hide under cabinets and in other inaccessable areas will be successfully
reached. To date, I haven't seen *any* insect that is immune to this
treatment. It will even solve a mouse problem! :) It doesn't actually
kill the mice. Rather, the mice smell it and leave, typically *staying*
away! :)
