IF your Humane society WILL adopt a ferret to you - by all means, PLEASE
rescue a ferret! Ferrets are not like cats and dogs which get used to one
person and have trouble moving into a new home with new routines and people.
Ferrets consider people large toys and one plaything is a good as another,
plus variety is the spice of life (ferret thinking).

If you want information about ferret care, and to receive a listing of ferret
shelters, contacts, vets, supplies, clubs, etc. in your state, send a LONG
self addressed stamped envelope to:

STAR* Ferrets
PO Box 1714
Springfield, VA 22151-0714
