Greetings to all on FML -
 
Have been printing and reading and printing and reading again, but now
have a couple of questions -
 
Tyler, blaze/panda MF N/D male, approximately 6 mos. old, adopted - when I
adopted him he was eating MF ferret food and had very litle exercise, thus
he was pLUMp.  Now he has 3-4 hours a day playtime with his brother and
sisters and has slimmed down, a little too much I am afraid.  I had changed
his diet to Iams Kitten/TF.  He also seems to be shedding and the other
ferrets have blossomed with their winter fat and beautiful winter coats.
Poor Tyler looks just terrible.  He went to vet in Sept for check up and
all was fine.  Now my question is this -
1) is he going through a "reverse-shed" and
2) someone said that ferrets who experience "reverse-shed", and
  particularly blazes, are more susceptible to adrenal disease.
  Is this true?
 
BTW, he seems to be great health - playing, pooping, eating, sleeping, but
won't give kisses (he's so fresh).
 
Any thoughts would be appreciated and welcomed.  Quite frankly I am
wondering if I should set up another vet visit, but don't have any
substantial symptoms other than the shedding and weight loss that seems to
go with this process.  Am giving him extra doses of PetMalt for hairballs,
combing daily and FerretVite for extra nutrition.
