I just wanted to point out to people who were criticising the lady with
the sick ferrets for keeping her boys outside.

It is really common in the UK to keep ferrets in an outdoor shed. A
lot of times ferrets here are kept for hunting and have different
lifestyles from per ferrets. While the lady who asked for help did not
mention that her ferrets are for hunting, it is still customary to do
here.

The woman that runs the rescue here where I adopted two of my ferrets
from keeps all her rescues in a garden shed. It is nicer than some
flats I have seen in the city.

The weather in the UK is much more mild than you would think based on
our position in the globe. Additionally, houses here in the UK
(especially in London) are MUCH smaller than houses in America and a
garden shed would be much closer to the house than you might think.

Also please respect that people in different countries have different
customs including their care for animals.

Thanks,
Jessica
