Please Email Governor Pataki or write a letter today and mail it ASAP.
 
The NY Senate passed the "Buster Bill", #5166, making it a Felony to abuse
companion animals.  Under this bill, if signed, animal abusers could get up
to a couple of years in jail and/or a substantial fine.  Although the Bill
passed the Senate, Governor Pataki has to sign it within 10 days.
