HI Everyone!
It's me your favorite chocolate spotted boy at Ferret Wise, Jerimiah!!!!
Hey lots going on as always here.  We have lots to cover so -- The news
on Dargo is:
 
HE IS DOING WELL after surgery!  He is now back at his hospice with
Boo-Boo and Emily and Randy & Cindy the nice humans who take care of
them.  He made it through surgery - Dr George removed a bad left adrenal,
2 islet cell tumors on his pancreas and gave him a lupron shot too.  He
is very happy to be back in his own home though he enjoyed shelter Mom
coming to give him a kiss as he woke from his surgery.  Yep, that is
our crazy shelter Mom.  Dargo did have a slightly enlarged right adrenal
but considering his age and other issues he will be receiving follow up
melatonin and lupron just like Boo-Boo now.  I bet he can't wait for his
Dad to come back form Iraq and hug him.  Maybe now he will grow some hair
back!
 
His hospice Mom Cindy said he is cages separately right now, but he is
doing well.  Shelter Mom has mailed up a bag of Totally Ferret for baby
ferrets- cuz that makes great soup for recovering ferrets!  I hope he
likes it!
 
Mom wants me to thank everyone who was kind enough to send donations &
buy ebays for Dargo- to date more than $365 has been raised to help cover
the $650.00 surgery costs-- which is a GOOD thing cuz I have to go to the
vets again soon!  Mom set up a special date for me- not that I am buying
all of the special-ness stuff!  Today 4 of us travelled to Dr Winnie's
for our Lupron's but Mom has been worrying about my gingivitis and stuff,
also I have cataracts starting in both eyes which makes me a little stand
offish even when Mom wants to pick me up.  It is just because I can't see
good that it IS Mom trying to pick me up - you know?
 
Anyway I gets to go to the vets soon Feb 7th in fact, and MOM gets to go
with me.  She is going to take me to the anesthesia I heard them say.
Thtat's MY MOM!  I wonder where that is?  Well I will tell you when that
all happens the first week in February.  SO, I bet Mom will have a
special thing or two on ebay soon to help pay for MY TRIP to the vets!
Oh BOY!  Another NEW experience for me.
 
We had a scare last night it started getting chilly- of course it was
darned cold outside Mom was checking us out in the wee hours of the
AM and it seemdd too chilly for the shelter- so she woke Dad up.  He
knew what the problem was and was up out of bed in no time tinkering
downstairs.  Mom said the lines needed to be bled..  gosh, I hope it
didn't hurt!  Now we are toasty once again this morning.  So glad my
folks can take care of us!
 
Well, That's all for now.  I gotta run cuz Mom is about to bring us our
morning soup!
