Hello all,

Someone in the last issue mentioned that one of the pointers to a ferret
being deaf is the "badger" type looks with the stripe on the head and
colorings. My 2yr male is this type ferret and I've thought for the past
couple months he is deaf. Luckily he isn't a bitter, never has. However,
he sleeps like the dead and only way to wake hime up is shaking the cage or
actually picking him up. Sounds don't work. I was wondering what kind of
"proof" there is to link the "badger" type looks to deafness?

Hope everyone is gearing up for a wonderful Christmas. I got stockings
for all the pets in the apartment and plan on filling them with treats and
toys! I'm going to check the ferret advertising issue and buy some stuff!

 Dook on everyone

Spyke - "who you calling a badger??"
Belle - (*poof*) "Check out this tail!"
