I just got back from Dr. Weiss. I took my little girl to him for right
adrenal removal. She was skinny and had thin hair but was still running
around eating and playing like she always did. I thought her risk would
be less if she was still in pretty good shape. The sooner the better is
what I have read about adrenals.

Now I am $417 poorer and I buried my girl last night. "I'm sorry. I don't
know what happened. Everything was going fine and then the heart just
stopped." doesn't give me much comfort when I know she probably would have
lived for a lot longer if I had just put her on medication. The tumor
turned out to be very tiny at this stage. There will never be any second
adrenal surgeries again for any of my ferrets. For my lady it was just
too much.

I wish everyone better luck with Dr. Weiss than I had. I truely don't
believe he could have done anymore than he did. It just wasn't in the
cards for Wiggles.

Still in Shock,

Barb Stewart
