Hi everyone!
First of all, Thank-you BIG! for putting an end to the "pellet gun"
debate. It seems so very senseless and cruel to end the life of a gentle,
loving, happy, playful animal in such a violent way. Enough said.

I figured there have been bets made about how long Lucy would keep her
bandage and splint on her foot! Well, it's been a week now, and it is
still intact. She was biting and chewing on the bandage and it was also
getting a little dirty. I had been spraying it heavily with Bitter Apple
to keep her from touching it but it wasn't working too well. So I went
out and bought a pair of knitted gloves (black, to match her feet). I cut
off one of the fingers (from the glove, silly!) and put it over the
bandaged foot like a sock and then taped it on at the top. I figured I
could replace it as she chewed at it. I haven't sprayed any Bitter Apple
on it, and for three days, she has completely left it alone! I think she
likes the idea that she has her very own sock to wear! She sure hasn't let
it get in the way of her adventures. She can even weasel-war-dance! The
only thing she needs help with is getting on and off the bed.

I'm so sorry to hear about the fuzzies that left their loved ones this past
week. I will be praying for Lucky and the others who are sick or having
surgery.

Barb and the ever-lovin' fuzzies;
Lucy (Thanks Mom, for my very own sock! You're the best! Kiss, kiss,
kiss,kiss...)
Greta (I have four socks -white ones!)
