Anyone watch the news last night about EARS, the animal rescue group
working feverishly in NC?

Well, they were talking about how they mostly focus on dogs and cats, but
went on to add that they do rescue for a ferret, a bird, or even a turtle.
The ferret they showed was a sweet looking sable with a huge pink nose!
Hurray!

The segment overall made me cry, because they showed drowned dogs and
stuff, but then they showed the reuniting of some pets with their owners
and I cried even harder.

My condolences to all those who lost pets of any kind due to Floyd and the
subsequent flooding with more rain this past week.
