Two things:
1) Ironically, the web page posted about the "bad rap for ferrets" article
is from the Baltimore Sun newspaper.  I live in Baltimore and had read that
article some months ago.  It infuriated me then and doubly so now that it
is on the web with no explanation or details.  I wrote a lengthy letter to
the Sun and if anyone is interested, e-mail me and I will send you a copy.
 
2) I saw, er, heard a ferret!  There is a new Budweiser commercial on the
radio with the lizards singing "Take me out to the ballgame." In the middle
of the song this really weird, squeeky voice starts to sing.  Then at the
end Louie the lizard goes "Man, that ferret can sing!" LOL!  I almost
rolled out of my car laughing so hard.  Good thing I was stopped at a red
light.
