**The advice dispensed by myself in reference to FML postings is not meant
to supplant the advice of veterinarians who are in charge of the patient.
If the patient is not currently under the care of a veterinarian, the client
is recommended to take their ferret to one.**

Any test results?  Rear limb weakness can be secondary to hypogylcemia,
infectious agents affecting the brain or spinal cord, etc.  I would want to
think of something infectious but I have seen cases where in multiple ferret
households, non-infectious disease occurring in more than one ferret at a
time.
