Hi all!
I've been a ferret owner for over 6 years and a subscriber for 2-3 months,
but this is my first post. I haven't posted before because I don't want to
make this thing (wonderful as it is) even longer than it already is, but
something's been driving me crazy! I think I'm a reasonably intelligent and
knowledgeable person, but I'm missing something. Can someone PLEASE explain
to me the significance of the name "Loki" (a cool name, by the way) for a
ferret? I've seen many different references to Lokis here on the FML (2
tonight alone!), and we have several patients named Loki at the ferret vet
that I work for. Was this the name of a ferret in a movie or something?
Does it mean something in some Native American language? I'm perplexed!!!

To Rose- thinking of you. How lucky Winky was to have found you. And the
same goes to everybody who has lost a beloved fuzzbutt recently.

Thanks! jamie
