"fretka" means ferret.  "polecam" translates into "I advice" (i'm
assuming they mean I advise).  if youse be needing polish to english
translation tools, you can go to

hope this helps ya'll!  (btw, i'm from western MA and spent quite a bit
of time in downeast ME, and never did see the "yawl" spelling.  however,
my spell checker always wants to change ya'll to yawl, but i think it's
thinking of a different kind of y'all ;)
