The ferts have been in the cage 24x7 for a couple days now. They used
to be very used to that and would go right back to the cage if let out.
Now they claw and beg to get out every chance.

Yesterday I opened the cage to play with them a bit but Pester would
have no part of it, would dance on her claw tips hopping and twisting
all over in a fever of rebellion for not being let out.

Today was warm so I let them on the porch. Even Peekaboo was doing a
war dance, something kind of new for her. She never did until just
recently. Guess she is finally feeling pretty good about where she
is now. I really do not think they came from the same home but were
together in the SPCA for that long duration. They took a long time to
bond just the same.

They now sleep in the same hammy or go to the box I made to curl up.
RePete was an item where he would get inside the box, then stick his
head out to pull the pillow case rag in the hole to plug it up thus
sealing out drafts and all keeping the inside warm. These guys have
not yet figured it out but I did see they did that last night, maybe
by accident. But both were in there snoring up a storm.

Out on the porch they dance and race all over playing some kind of tag.
More like "how far can I push Peekaboo before she cracks . . . .".
Pester finds that point and then goes off to other trouble. Doesn't
make much [sense] but is what they do over and over.

Keep in touch!
