Attention all ferret owners in Multnomah County
 
The Oregon Ferret Association has heard that there will be a public meeting
on Tuesday, 9am, in the Portland Building (the one with the statue of
Portlandia) to discuss which "exotic" animals to ban from the county.  It
appears the politicians have gone into panic mode because of the fellow
keeping the tiger in his back yard in the SW side of the city.  Rumor has it
that a member of the commission is anti-ferret.  Several ferret owners plan
to be present at this meeting to air their views.
 
Please try to attend this meeting.  The more voices speaking out in favor of
our pets, the better.
