Hi all -
Well, we went to the vet last night. Nala has adrenal disease (known) and
was given a shot of Lupron. She also has cardiomyopathy and therefore
will not be having surgery as my vet explained it was a big risk. I will
continue to get her Lupron shots and giving her Lasix to help keep her
happy for the rest of her life.

I just have to ask, is there any chance at all that this is painful for
her? I mean, Lupron covers the symptoms of the cancer right? But it
doesn't cure the cancer? So, can it cause her any pain? What about the
cardio? Also, my vet did blood work on my baby and clipped her little nail
into the quick to get the blood and hearing her little yelp made me CRY!
Have any of you cried at the vets over something like that? I was really
emotionally drained when I left. I can't imagine how my little Nala felt!

Well, thanks for listening.
Lisa and Nala
