I'm sorry if I offended anyone with my opinions on the ferret population.
I apparently got the mistaken impression that the shelters were all
becoming crowded because people were buying kits , tiring of them, and then
getting rid of them at shelters.  I do honestly believe there are breeders
who do it strictly out of love.  Perhaps I neglected to mention it because
they're already doing what's right, you can't "fix" that.  I know that the
overpopulation of shelters doesn't compare in the least to the problems
with dogs and cats and I hope that it never does.  Isn't there a bit of
concern that unless things change now that it could end up like that?
