Well, I am feeling awful sentimental about my ferrets today so, I thought I
would write them a poem.  You guys can read it too... ;)
 
Ferret Kisses

I can't take any more
  ferret kisses every single day
I can't take a snuggled ferret up
  and expect he's ready to play
I don't want to look in those eyes
  and feel that bit of love
I don't want to pet your back
  or give you a playful shove
I shouldn't take you out to kiss
  every time I see you look
I really shouldn't love you so
  every time I hear you dook
But every single day you see
  I take you up and kiss you
And snuggle you up, holding tight
  'cause I know one day I'll miss you
I look so deeply in your eyes
  every single chance I get
And when I need some comforting
  it's you I want to pet
Forever I'll be coming by
  to feel that silly kiss
Or listen to you tell me stories
  with a "dook dook, chuckle hiss"
I know that one day all these things
  kisses, snuggles, dooks, and pets
Will be the things I cherish always
  I loved you with no regrets.
