Great advice you gave here, April, and it was very well put.
 
Also, I just love your ferret's names.  I've always been fond of
God/Goddess or mythological names for my critters.  I've had a Loki, and
right now I have a little girl named Eris.  I'm thinking Kali would be a
good one in the future, too.  I have a guinea pig named Pygmalion, and
have had lots of rats with such names as well.  It's fun :)
