At least when it means I was just being a foolish worry-wart over one of the
little guys!  I was pretty surprised by how aprehensive I felt about leaving
one of them for a routine surgery.
 
Esme' came through just fine.  She had a BB-sized tumor/insulinoma, but only
one.  She came out of the anaesthesia well, too.  Tonight she went home with
Dr. Ebling, and unless something unexpected arises, I'll be picking her up
tomorrow.  Dr. E did not find anything else of note while she was in there,
and she wouldn't have gone in at all if Esme's heart had shown to be
enlarged on the x-ray.  Nothing but good news.
