At least when it means I was just being a foolish worry-wart over one of the little guys! I was pretty surprised by how aprehensive I felt about leaving one of them for a routine surgery. Esme' came through just fine. She had a BB-sized tumor/insulinoma, but only one. She came out of the anaesthesia well, too. Tonight she went home with Dr. Ebling, and unless something unexpected arises, I'll be picking her up tomorrow. Dr. E did not find anything else of note while she was in there, and she wouldn't have gone in at all if Esme's heart had shown to be enlarged on the x-ray. Nothing but good news. Thank you all for your prayers ... especially Cleo's. Blessings Judith [Posted in FML issue 1871]
