Hello all.
We have only had Shanook and Bailey for a couple of weeks and we now have
Bear and Weasel.

Bear is only about 3 yr. old but has Lymphoma. All of her lymph nodes
are swollen, including some internal nodes. Her fur is thining and is
very dry. She is apparently a very sick little girl but you would never
know it. She is a real live wire, war dancing and dooking to beat the
band. I know our time with her is short but we are going to enjoy the
time as much as possible.

Weasel is about 5 yr. old and seems to be in good health although they
suspect she may have cushings. That is one area I know very little
about. Maybe some of you could fill me in. Her vulva is a little swollen
but that is the only visible problem at this point.

Last week I had Shanook and Bailey to the vet for their shots. I stayed
longer than the prescribed time and it is a good thing I did. Shanook
started throwing up. The vet gave him Benedryl and because he was so busy
trying to throw up, he couldn't breathe properly and started to turn blue.
A little oxygen and he was fine again. Very tired, but fine. He was fine
but his new mom was a wreck.

That's it for now.
