Umm...be very careful with raw vegetables, especially carrots. There are
documented cases of ferrets gnawing on carrots and ingesting pieces,
which gave them blockages because they couldn't digest it or pass it.
Many ferrets love a taste of vegetables (and I have a potato-dragger too),
but a tiny taste of soft cooked vegetable is the only veggie they should
ever get.

No flame intended, just don't want you to lose a fuzzy! Keep an eye on
the carrots, maybe substitute something else? One day they might get
bored and start chewing on them.
