I went to a pet store and bought a $180 cat cage; approx. 2'x3'x4' -
doesnt sound big, but that's 24 cubic feet of space, right? Da ferret's
got several levels and shelves to frisk about in, along with a hammock
made of an old sweatpants leg to sleep in.  Since i'm out of the house a
lot, i feel better knowing she has the space to hop around in if she
should so choose.
 
Potpie would like to comment that SHE gets at LEAST a raisin a day; this
one raisin a WEEK stuff is way out of proportion. And if ferrets
somewhere are getting TWO RAISINS A DAY, she'd better damn well be
getting two too.  Hmph.
