Fresh Bananas

Did I read somewhere that fresh banana isn't good for ferrets?  Something
about it not digesting well?  Let me know, since one ferret (recently
adopted) only seems to like fresh bananas--nothing else, not even banana
chips.  I've stopped giving him the fresh banana, but will start giving it
to him again if enough folks say it's ok.  Respond to the FML--I'd rather
not have to read and respond to individual e-mails.
