Our "Little Man" is a scaredy ferret. He's the baby of the bunch and he's
the only boy (of 5 girls). He's almost 9 months old, but for as big as he
is (more than double the size of the girls - about 5 lbs.) he's the biggest
chicken I've ever seen. He hides from anything new, and he scares very
easily. We opened the door to their room the other night (we heard
"someone" knocking over things from the desk) and we made eye contact and he
let out this scream and took a nose dive for cover. :)

We took him and Salt down my mother's house and let them lose in the
bathroom. My mom's dog was in there too (all the ferrets are on good terms
with the dog) and Little Man wouldn't come out from behind the clothes
hamper. Salt was just bouncing around exploring the new setting, but not my
fearless protector, he poked his head out every once in a while, shivering,
but for the most part, he remained hidden.
