ok, here's Timmy's original lab report, from a biopsy sample.

HISTOPATHOLOGY/CYTOLOGY REPORT
DATE: Nov 21, 1994
ACCESSION #: H-M-2706-94
OWNER: Holowicki C-f
PATIENT: Mustelid; 1 yr.; M/c; "Timmy"
VETERINARIN: Dr. Brown
HOSPITAL: Midwest Bird & Exotic Animal Hospital

SAMPLE SUBMITTED: Lymph Node & Liver Biopsies

DESCRIPTION: Two specimens ranging in size from 5 to 10 mm in diameter were
removed from this one year old ferret. The mass identified as lymph node
measured 1 cm in diameter and was soft in consistency. This off white to
brown mottled-tissue showed a uniform population of large lymphocytes.
These cells were characterized by an eccentric convoluted nucleus with
coarsely clumped chromatin and prominent nucleoli. The mitotic index was
high and the neoplastic cells extended to the borders of the sample
submitted for examination. The sections of liver examined from this 5 mm
diameter, firm, brown tissue specimen showed a neoplastic proliferation of
lymphocytes in the periportal regions. The remainder of the hepatic
parenchyma showed fatty degeneration and cholestasis.

DIAGNOSIS: Malignant Lymphoma with Hepatic Metastasis

COMMENT: Poor prognosis. This is clearly a metastatic
lymphoproliferative disease process and therapy will likely be of only
temporary benefit

It's amazing how some people generate embarrassing opinions on such idle
speculation.

I also have the vet report of basically all systems normal, no detectable
traces left of the lymphoma. It's hand written, so can't be ocr'd very
well, but can send an image of the scanned document to anyone who cares.

ferret totally healed from "terminal lymphoma" without drugs or surgery. :)
