Well, it's been a super busy week at the shelter!
 
On Saturday afternoon, the shelter took in Mo, a 2 year old male.  He's
real cute and plays well with Talayah and MissyAnn.  Our little MissyAnn
is a lucky girl though and she'll be going to her new home on Sunday!
 
I've been watching over Romeo, the little boy who came in last Saturday.
He's had surgery to correct his badly broken leg and is doing pretty
good.  He's been sleeping in mommie's room which kind of made me jealous
'cuz the last ferret she allowed to do that was me.  BUT, i realized that
he really needed her extra TLC and so i'm ok with him sleeping with her
and sometimes, in the night i come down from the heavens to sleep with
them both.
 
On Friday night, grandma wasn't feeling so good.  Mommie took Romeo
upstairs and sat him on grandma's bed.  Well, grandma was eating her
tapioca pudding and Romeo decided he wanted to share it with grandma so
the two of them were like peas in a pod for a while.  mommie wished she
had a camera so she could capture such a precious moment!
 
Juliet, Romeo's sister will be coming to the shelter on Sunday!  Romeo
must be excited.  i remember what it felt like to be separated from the
ferret i loved and it's not fun so i'm so happy that Juliet will be back
with her man!!!
 
Other than that, all is well and happy.  i want to add a special thank
you note to all of you who donated towards Romeo's surgery fund.  i
remember how nice all of you were to me for so many years while i was
sick and it really made me feel special and loved.  i'm sure Romeo
feels the same way right now.
