I guess I may need to make an apology to the list.  If I have offended
anyone, I do regret it.  It was never my intention!  I just got another
e-mail from someone telling me that my stories of singing ferrets were
stupid-(Tyson doing his Elvis impression and singing BackStreet Boys),
that I was stupid for endangering the lifes of my ferrets by taking them to
North Carolina, and how irresponsible I am for going off to Vegas-leaving
my ferrets and gambling away precious money.  I'd like to address each of
those issues if it's okay!
 
First, the singing ferret was my feeble attempt at humor!  Sometimes this
list gets so serious-I was just trying to lighten things up a little.
(Where is limejello and the exlpoding chicken and dorcus-"dook, I fall
off the couch"?)
 
Second, my ferrets were never in any danger in NC!  Yes, several-(actually
many) times I came across high water-but it was standing-not rushing like
it was going to sweep us away.  They were never in any danger and I
honestly felt they would be better off with me-especially since I had to
leave again so soon after that!
 
And last-I am leaving my daughter in charge of the ferrets and I have every
confidence that she will care for them as I would!  She may be the daughter
of someone who is "filth" and "an evil witch", but I trust her completley
as I know she loves them, too!  As for my gambling-that really is none of
anyone's business!  I have repeatedly donated to individuals and shelters
on this list.  I help where I can and when I can-but it is my money to do
with as I see fit and if I want to gamble a little of it away-well-that is
my business!  As soon as I saw the name on the message, I knew I should
have deleted it without reading it.  But, I did read it and as I care not
at all what this person thinks about me, I do care what some of you others
think!  Please, if I have offended anyone in anyway-it was not my
intention!  Perhaps now is a good time for me to take a little break from
the list.  I can debate and take heat-but these personal attacks are
getting old.
