Hey all- Jerimiah here!
Well I got Cheerio's and some crunchy treats-- but no one gave me pizza!
Heck I would just like to drag some around like a trophy you know?  Greg
drove all the way from the seacoast to meet the new kids and lend a hand in
the shelter tonite.  He picked me up a couple of times and I didn't even
bite him!  They cleaned all the food out of the cage I was savin' under the
rug-- don't they know it's my security stash?  With all the new kids a
fella's got to save a little.  Then I gots to save some for my friends Rex,
Handsome & Dewey-- cause they stay in the same bunk house as me!
 
Well we gots some punkins in tonight for the folks to bring to the Keene,
NH Pumpkin festival.  I will try to sneak out the door tomorrow so I can
climb in an 'spect em!  There is four neat orange balls with ferrets cut
into or on them-- and more s'pose to be coming in tomorrow & Saturday!  The
folkses gots to make the candle things for inside so they will look nice at
night.
 
The two gals left with Aunt Judy today-- I am hoping this means I get to
run the shelter more while they are gone-- but I overheard the shelter Mom
& Dad saying they had to separate a little gal -- that means she will need
to run too-- so I may have to settle for only 3 hours out in the place--
darn darn..
 
BUT there is hope.  I heared them also say one new gal -- a teensy, tinsy
little one they call Musketeer in the far cage who is only 5 months old and
has a severe underbite -- will have a new home!  Folks that already have a
couple shelter kids and live far away in PA are now her foster grandparents
they sent the shelter folks some pennies to help with her care-- but they
plan to come and adopt her in December ...
 
That is one kid that will be leaving.  And the guy Greg-- well he done fell
in love with a young white boy -- and said he will be back in NOvmber after
the turkey flies for him.  Hmmmm this is looking better every day!  GUESS
WHAT!  I stole a tube of Nutrical Mom had on the cage top today -- I am not
tellin' you where I hid it until it is all gone-- 'cause I don't want Mom
to find it first!
 
On Saturday our friend Susan comes back-- gosh please leave my blankies
alone okay?  And she is helping tidy up-- then the folks is gonna be gone
to MA on Sunday for the MaFF Halloween Frolic!  They is packing up the
projector to run the shelter powerpoint show which shows off the shelter
kids, etc.,and of course they is bringing neat stuff like hammies, tents,
tee shirts- embroidered hats etc.  for folks who need something extra to
buy.  That is good 'cause the holiday season is coming-- and I want new
TOYS and Cheweasel's!
 
Now all of you remember to come to the Holiday Open House on December 9th!
Free admission with cheerio's I said so!  ( and remember I like to taste
fudge & cookies too)!
