        I think the California ferret organizations have this information...
on per capita bites of dogs, cats, and ferrets.  Also, in an older
L.A.Times article mention was made of a study published in the Journal of
the American Medical Association showing per animal there were less bites
from ferrets than the other two species.  I'll try and find it on First
Search and post it if I find it.
