I have decided having back up pans for my crew of 12 and occasional
visitors from the two shelters for whom I foster and rehab, is the
easiest way to go. I can soak pans, give a good scrub with soap and
water and rinse, spray with 10-1 water/Clorox solution, rinse and air
dry. They are clean, disinfected, have time to air from any residue
chlorine smell (not a common problem) and I always have a back up pan.
I just bought another three cat litter ans from Walmart at $1.97. This
batch seems to have a bit higher back. They are kitty pans in the pet
section.
