Found Ferret in Durham, NC 4/5/97

A "blondish-red" ferret was found in Durham, NC on Sat.  "in the middle of
the road." It was taken to a local wildlife rehabber who called the ferret
rescue.  It is in good shape and the rehabber has been given instructions on
feeding, care, etc.  She will keep it for a couple days & place an ad in the
classified section, & if no owner is found will call the shelter again for
pick up.
